Sheesh.... it's been a while!
12 days to be exact!
I've been extremely busy with exams and extracurriculars, but I'm here to stay. :P
I hope you are still writing in your journals, and following all of your goals. Because without this help, it's going to be much harder to achieve your goals.
As many of you probably already know, I write based on my experience or the experience of others. And for those of you who know me, you know that I am extremely shy and I am especially shy around boys. Since then, I've gotten over this, so I thought, why not write a quick guide on it?
Sometimes when you get around the opposite sex, you get really nervous. You don't know what to say or you don't stop talking, you keep wondering if they like you, even though you're not in the least bit attracted to them.
Yeah. It gets awkward. But once you really face your fears, you can establish a healthy friendship with a guy (or girl).
Step 1: **Coming Soon....Sorry guys I have a meeting & an eggroll calling my name!! :P**

Parties
Whoa! It's been a couple of days...
I went to a really crazy party last night, and got home this morning and, I met some really cool people and, this is what this blog will be all about...
So, with school tomorrow and probably a few Valentine's parties coming up, here are a few tips to help you out:
-If you see someone sitting alone, or with a group of friends, join them. Talk about the music and how funny that guy looks dancing or how good Joey is a dancer.
-When your friends are talking to their friends, show interest in the conversation. Like always, friends of friends are really good friends to make, because at least your friends can tell you a little about them.
-Dance!! If you're not a good dancer, you can always dance with a female friend if you feel more comfortable doing that instead of trying to impress a guy. ;)
-Keep it clean!! A guy isn't going to notice you just because you do some dirty dancing with him. It sounds so cliche, but it does happen.
Although I'm not the brave and dancing type, I found others who weren't either and we really kicked it off. Doing this gave me time to hang with old friends, meet some new friends (who are friends of friends) and just have fun. Before this I never really thought that "freshmeat" (freshmen) could actually hang out with upperclassmen...lol I was wrong. Look at it this way: Don't judge anyone by labels or stereotypes. Look at everyone like they're BFF-material.
So go [cleanly] party your hearts out! Meet some new people and have fun! Well, g2g, watching the Superbowl!!
XOXO,
Ruthie<3
