Sundays

Life is full of twists and turns, the only way for it all to work out is to confront your problems and face your fears. I know I say a lot of stuff on this blog more than once, but I'm going to keep saying it until at least one person gets the point.

Whether life throws you family, personal, social, or religious problems, you have to swing back at it harder. You can't accept being treated anything below what you feel you should be treated.

So as much as you're afraid to break out of that shell you're in, just remember once you do, people are going to see you for who you really are and you'll finally be able to spread your wings and fly.

A Word To The Wise

Personal Blog [Advice Below]
ALWAYS do your homework. As lame and "nerdy" you may think that sounds, do it. Right now I'm doing horribly in all of my classes but one, and I really have to get my grade up if I want to continue to attend the Prep school I'm currently attending...yikes. Even though I hate going to that school with a passion, I don't want to get kicked out!
~~
So, now for my REAL advice for today:

-Don't ever be embarrassed to hang out with kids who are considered the "untouchables" or social-outcasts at your school. 8 times out of 10 they're very smart and well-intentioned, and make great friends and project partners. Besides, a true popular person doesn't treat people in a cruel manner just because of who the person thinks they are, but how they would want to be treated (EVERYONE should know the Golden Rule by now... ;) ).

-BE TRUE TO YOURSELF! I cannot stress that enoungh. Just because some people do things that other people considered cool and you don't agree with, that doesn't mean you have to do it. Find your own niche! Share it with others and have fun!

I'm seriously considering doing an online self-renewal program in the summer with giveaways, health/beauty tips, icebreaker tips, and more of course. I could probably Tweet it, and I'd probably do daily posts for that....Idk, we'll have to see how many people would actually be interested in that.

XOXO,
Ruthie
